After receiving a Bachelor's Degree from Western Michigan University and a Master's Degree from the University of Southern California in Business Administration, I served three years in the U. S. Army, including 18 months in Europe where I taught a business course for the University of Maryland in Stuttgart, Germany. I moved to Arizona and earned my real estate license in 1983 and worked in commercial real estate. I then earned my Broker's license in 1987 and began residential sales.
